| | What CAN I Do To Help ! To Make Our Club's Charity Cruise a Success ?? | | - Bring your NPCC 8 ½ x 11 Yellow dash plaque (with your name on it) and put it on your dashboard.
If you don’t have one contact our club prez Judi who will make one for you.
- Bring a cooler to the food area the morning of the cruise (put your name on the bottom) and please
don’t forget to take it home with you after the cruise. We need them to keep drinks cold.
- Obtain donations from businesses for the Chinese Auction and Door Prize areas. It’s not that hard.
Ask to speak to a manager. By using a Sponsors Packet and asking on behalf of our charity almost all businesses will help out. Pick-up sponsor packets here at the meeting before you go home.
- Get all of your prizes for Chinese Auction and Door Prizes to Rick and Cel Conwell. If you can’t get
the prizes to them before the cruise, please call and let them know what prizes you will be bringing to the cruise so they can be prepared. Rick and Cel's phone numbers are 724-538-3570-Home or 412-389-0217-Cell
- Come to the cruise by 9:00am to pitch in and help setup the booths – by coming a little early you’ll also get
a nice spot to park your Corvette.
- Help our charity by having fun at the cruise – buy 50/50 tickets, buy Chinese Auction tickets for some great prizes
(last year we had over $3,000 in donated prizes) and come hungry for lunch. ALL of our cruise proceeds go directly to our charity.
- While at the cruise volunteer to help for awhile and give others a break. If we spread the work around so it can be
fun for everyone – see Marc Berliner, Jim Merriman or Denny Podrasky. Also they may ask you to help.
- Make a tax deductible donation to the Spark of Hope - $20 would be great and if you can handle it $50 would
- be even better. This would be a great way for you to help if you don’t like asking businesses for donations.
Their United Way number is 994662. Give the checks to the Spark of Hope folks by their van, Marc, Jim or Denny.
- INVITE ALL OF YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO COME TO THE CRUISE. The cruise is open to the
public. The more people at the cruise the more food we sell, the more Chinese Auction tickets we sell and the more 50/50 tickets we sell. And that means the more money we raise for the Spark of Hope.
